Hi, can anyone gove me any info regarding the 2 small ponds either side of the track above Abernant? I understand their about 25 years old and were stocked once but who owns and is responsible for them nowadays?

I'm new to the area and discovered them whilst out for a walk and now i'm curious as don't want to infringe or cheat anyone out of paying a permit if their worth fishing at all nowadays?

Cheers all.

The fishing is going really well up 'Nant Moel' with a large number of fish being caught on CDC buzzers and beetles fished static or slow. Other successful flies have been Olive Fritz, Small Montanas, Black and Peacock and Diawl Bach. Lures still work but the fish are now turned on to their natural diet so imitative flies are better.
