The fishing is going really well up 'Nant Moel' with a large number of fish being caught on CDC buzzers and beetles fished static or slow. Other successful flies have been Olive Fritz, Small Montanas, Black and Peacock and Diawl Bach. Lures still work but the fish are now turned on to their natural diet so imitative flies are better.

Stocking takes place on a regular basis, the average stock consists of 250 1.5lb - 2.5lb rainbow trout from Exmoor Trout Farm. The association prides its self on the quality of the fishing provided at Nant Moel. This is NOT the same as a local fishery where you are almost guaranteed to catch fish, this is a natural fly water where fishing on times can been 'electric'.

The weather was poor last season, the rain in September put pay to a good end of season. Permits are reduced! there are two boats for use by members.
