Rules

1. The size limit on Association waters is 25cms (10 inches) from nose to cleft of tail, on stocked waters only. The bag limit on all waters is three (3) fish per day. Catch and release is allowed on fly fishing waters only (not worm), however when you have killed your third fish fishing must cease for the day.

2. All fish must be landed with a knotless landing net, which must be carried at all time.

3. Fishing is by single rod and line only. Fly and Worm fishing is only allowed on Bwlfa Reservoir, Fly only on Nat Moel and Worm only on Nant Hir. Fly, Worm and Spinning is allowed on the rivers. All other baits are strictly banned on game waters, anyone caught using or carrying such illegal baits on club water will have their ticket canceled immediately. All fish under 10 inches must be returned to the water dead or alive.

4. Close season on Association waters as follows:
Rivers 30th September to March 3rd.
Lakes 30th September to March 3rd.
Bwlfa & Nant Moel 30th October to March 3rd.

The following fishing times apply to Bwlfa & Nant Moel ONLY. The start of fishing times on any day shall be from 1 hour before sunrise and 1 hour after sunset.


NO brown trout to be taken from any still water until further notice.

5. One day ticket will be issued to anyone person on any one day. Day tickets are not available to members.

6. All members are requested to take home any waste nylon or slit shot that has been discarded even though it may not be yours.

7. Lead weights between one once and No. 8 shot are banned. No ground baiting.

8. Ticket holders shall not leave litter or any other waste after them, this included waste nylon line. No fires shall be lit on Association Waters. No rod left unattended.

9. Membership tickets are not transferable. Juniors MUST be accompanied by and adult.

10. If you are requested to show your ticket to any other member, Police, Association Bailiff you must do so- they will show you their authority to produce your ticket. Failure to produce a ticket will mean expulsion from the water and possible legal action.

11. No dogs allowed on any association waters

 




WARNING: Person fishing without a NRA Rod License are liable to prosecution by the NRA. Persons fishing the Association Waters do so at their own risk and there is no liability on the Association whatsoever.
Any person found to be contravening these Rules is debarred from taking out another ticket and the one he/she holds is canceled immediately. Tackle may be confiscated.

Anything not provided for in these rules shall be laid before the Committee whose decision is FINAL.
