Aberdare and District Angling Association

Welcome to the all new AADAA web site, please use the blog on the fishing page to improve the angling of all members/visitors. I have also added a weather ‘widget’ to the side bar of the site this will hopefully provide you useful fishing information.

We are based in the Aberdare area of the Cynon Valley in South Wales, the association has one main reservoir, Nant Moel (12 acres) and large stretches of the River Cynon.

We are a small association, who are run by a dedicated number of elected committee members, our aim is to provide quality fishing for a reasonable cost for people within the Cynon Valley (although out of area members are welcome).

We stock our waters throughout the season with rainbow trout reared locally. These are renowned for their hard fighting qualities.

We have also stocked a large number of brown trout into our catch and release reservoir (Nant Moel) over the past few seasons.
